We are inviting you to join a webinar Electronic Lab Notebooks Under the Spotlight where sciNote’s CEO Klemen Zupancic will dedicate special attention to answer your questions about electronic lab notebooks (ELNs).
Choosing a software that your work depends on is not something that happens overnight. It's no different with theELNs. There are many blog posts, on social media and in scientific papers which are discussing ELN functionalities. Unfortunately, answers are scattered and hard to find.
Klemen will give us a short overview how research data is currently being managed and how this will change in the future. However, he will dedicate most of his time during this 45 minutes long webinar to answer your questions and address your concerns.
During the webinar, the following topics will be discussed:
- Which are the current data management challenges?
- How reproducible is our research?
- Is it hard to change from paper to electronic lab notebook?
- I would like to use ELN, but my colleagues are not convinced.
- Which are the pros and cons of a cloud software vs desktop software?
- How can I access my research data? Is my data safe?
- When can we expect IoT in research laboratories?
- Can I connect ELN with instruments and other software?
As an ex researcher and CEO of sciNote, Klemen Zupančič believes that all researchers should have access to an expert and easy-to-use software where they can safely store and manage their data. During his PhD Klemen has started his own company BioSistemika who develops scientific software for end-users and industry. After five successful years as a CEO of the company, he founded another company sciNote LLC with its main product sciNote - Open Source Electronic Lab Notebook.
We hope that you have time to join webinar Electronic Lab Notebooks Under the Spotlight on December 8, 2016 at 04:00 pm (Berlin), 03:00 pm (London), 10:00 am (New York), 09:00 am(Texas), 07:00 am (Los Angeles), 11:00 pm (Tokyo) and ask Klemen everything you would like to know about Electronic Lab Notebooks.
